About IEDC

The International Engineering Design Challenge (IEDC) is an educational workshop program for students from various Asian countries. Participants work in diverse groups to solve open-ended problems. Each group is composed of members from different nationalities and academic disciplines.

The goal

The participants can understand design thinking and improve group working skills. They also can have experiences of international collaboration and presentations.

The target

Students from any kinds of the fields. Multidisciplinary collaboration is also one to the important goal of the event. The grade is not considered too.

Style

All the events are conducted as training camp style. All participants stay in an accommodation and try to achieve the mission. Because the schedule has evening session, participants from host university also should stay in the accommodation.
