International Engineering Design Challenge (IEDC)

Presentation

At this workshop, students will have 4-5 days to come up with ideas for one theme.
Therefore, on the last day, we will hold a final presentation.
At the final presentation, slides, mock-up models of proposals, etc. will be presented.

However, at IEDC, students are asked to make several presentations before the final presentation, and the faculty members evaluate them.
For example students may be asked to present in the following cases.

・Reporting the results of ice-breaking activities
・Report on what you learned through fieldwork and discussions
・Group production progress report

For presentations, it is best to rate the following items on a 5-point scale.
(1) Presentation content
(2) Ideas for presentation. For example, slide design and speaking style.
(3) Teamwork of the group

During the presentation, the teacher comment on each group's work.
Based on these comments, students refine their ideas.
